In a better world, with more role-play to begin with, player housing would be a great idea. But it would be dreadful for beginning role-players in Warcraft. An already sparse and underground RP scene would be driven even deeper. There would be fewer open-world scenes and more instanced, hidden away ones.

Guild halls, perhaps? Same problems. We need more inter-guild role-play, not less, but the guild hall would all but guarantee it.

And while we&#039;re there, if it&#039;s instanced, who&#039;s to say you&#039;ll ever get in? You can&#039;t get into half the dungeons these days.

Finally, and this is the coffin nail for me, there&#039;s nothing IN it for the raider. There&#039;s nothing IN it for the PVPer. There&#039;s no in-game benefit, and these guys LIVE for that.
