Take five or detach an officer while clearing trash, take the whiny bitch in a corner and tell them “Look, dude, now is not the time. You’re hurting the raid. We can deal with your complaint later; right now I need you to either stuff it and focus, take an AFK while you calm down, or just get out of the raid for the night.”

Meanwhile, make some dick jokes on Vent to lighten the mood. Or have some insane woman in your raid fake an orgasm, if you happen to have someone like that.

Personally I hate the mommy voice. Actually, nothing makes me more angry than the use of a voice like that. To me, the rainbow and gumdrop voice is just an instant trigger and since I am already fairly hot-tempered it is never pretty.

When things get this bad, I have one of two options.

1) the raid ends. Period. If people are so upset that they can’t focus on the raid, we call it.

2) 5 minutes of break and silliness.

However, attitude on vent gets quashed. Cause if I don;t get to be pissy, and I don’t, no one gets too.
