Open Thread: A Common Thread
I admit I am totally stealing this idea from a report I heard on the BBC yesterday: “That the Irish are perpetually cheering for the underdog and quick to look at colonialism.”
What does this political idea have to do with WoW? Quite simply, we want to know what are some common themes between your PCs. Do they all stem from the same geographic location? Are they all Religious/Non-Religious? Do they have the same attitudes towards the law/the state? Are they always the underdog?
What traits do your characters share with each other?

Oh good god, thinking about it, I’ve fallen prey to the Disney Family Syndrome:
Paladin and her DK sister — Mother dead, father alive, later dies
Hunter 1 — Mother alive, father dead
Hunter 2 — Mother alive, father dead
Rogue — Whore of a mother dead, father alive
Priest — Both parents dead
WAR IS AWESOME.
(It’s also easier to have them be their own when their parents aren’t around to dictate their lives… I suppose.)

None of my characters are particularly invested in the war between the Alliance and the Horde. Their attitudes towards the opposite faction tend to be some version of “you leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone,” with varying degrees of friendliness, apathy, or hostility depending on the character and the situation. This is probably because I don’t really enjoy PvP for the most part. I’ve tried playing characters that are more gung ho about the war, and it doesn’t really work… I either lose interest in them, or they go through character development and learn to tolerate the other side a bit better. I’m such a carebear.
