Sneaky Saturday: Neener Neener
Quick question: What races does your toon just not like? Bricu (and Threnn) have nothing but negative feelings for Blood Elves (like this one):

Their antipathy stems from a number of interactions with some less-than-savory Belves, and an interesting bit of random RP during BC, when a new Draenei character nearly died to a Blood Elf ambusher.
So share with us: What races does your toon despise–and why!

Nancie loathes, hates, despises, and cannot stand orcs. She’s also not too keen on Tauren, Undead, Belfs, or Trolls. You might be noticing a pattern.
There’s a reason she’s a vehement supporter of Varian Wrynn!

Shad dislikes blood elves and high elves, as a rule. He’s a young kaldorei, but he knows enough of his history to know what they are, the traitorous dogs. He’s not particularly fond of orcs, either, given what they’re doing to Ashenvale. In the future, they may (will) leap to number one on his hate list for what will be fairly obvious reasons. He -used- to be fairly prejudiced against those short-lived humans. That, clearly, has entirely changed, but gnomes still creep him the hell out.
Shael has gradually restrained his intense hatred for those greenskinned bastards who destroyed HIS CITY AND KILLED HIS GRANDPA. It is now merely a bubbling hatred. He hates deaders pretty strongly too. Still, he respects Thrall and hates the idea of more war.

Dorri obviously doesn’t like humans. Like most blood elves she sees them has having betrayed the elves when their time of greatest need.
She had a distrust of trolls and Night Elves

Pitch dislikes orcs and trolls, is mostly neutral towards blood and high elves, and is totally creeped out by undead. He does, however, like most tauren that he’s met. That may be because nearly all of them have been fellow druids.
Lark hates trolls. There is a story behind that but it’s not finished yet. She’s mostly indifferent to the rest of the Horde, although the orcs chopping down Ashenvale isn’t helping their cause at all. As far as her fellow Alliance, she tolerates them all well, but considers humans to be too brash most of the time.
Alanon has no problems with the high elves or tauren. He’s more wary of the blood elves, doesn’t care for the trolls, and tries to avoid the Forsaken whenever possible. Interestingly enough, his aversion to undead doesn’t include the Alliance-side death knights. He has no problems with the orcs and even thinks they can be convinced to change their ways- mostly because of Thrall- but I’m pretty sure that will change come Cata.

Kyraine doesn’t dislike anyone at this point. I know that’ll change during Cata with the Forsaken, but that’s not happened yet, and right now she’s indifferent. Rand and Oro aren’t fond of orcs and Forsaken. I can’t see that getting any better as time goes on, either. Rand gets along well with Tauren and Dwarves (druids and ale).
I’m sure more will change with Cataclysm, but that works for now.

Windstar does NOT like undead, mostly because of her being a druid. She has a strong distrust of orcs, trolls, and blood elves, but doesn’t mind tauren as much. For her own faction, she is very tolerant of everyone, but gnomes (and most other engineers) make her a little nervous.
Kal does not exactly hate any Horde races, but she doesn’t hesitate to kill them if needed. She does have a very special hatred for centaurs, however. She gets along well with other Kaldorei, and likes most humans, but she is a bit more reserved with dwarves, gnomes, and draenei.
Arien, being a paladin, and rather young to boot, likes almost everyone, until they give her a reason not to.

Rashona reserves flat-out hatred for centaurs, who not only tried to drive the tauren to extinction but damn near destroyed Desolace. As far as PCs go, she doesn’t *trust* Forsaken or Draenei as a whole, but makes exceptions for individuals. (Forsaken have that whole undead thing going, and Draenei …well, when your primary experience with Light-wielders is the Scarlet Crusade, a whole damn RACE of ‘em traveling around with what amounts to a Light elemental does not make for a happy cow.)
Tarquin on 13 Jul 2010 at 8:35 am #
Tarq still has a gut-deep fear of undeath that translates to a distinct antipathy for the Forsaken. The fact that they stole his homeland doesn’t much help. Otherwise, he maintains a healthy, low-grade disrespect for just about everyone. But being a professional, he’s not going to let these feelings get in the way of making a profit.
Also, LOLSOUTHRONS. Though strangely enough, he needles ‘em less these days. Wonder why that is.

Wonder why that is.

Tarq needs to wear his hat, dammit! Pill made that up all special!

Mugs probably has a general grumbling rant memorized for each individual race that exists, even ones where he has a large amount of friends of that race. Three great examples are Gnomes, Humans, and Night Elves. He sees humans as a race as greedy and bumbling, Night Elves are prideful and (thanks to a lot of PuGs) idiots since the third war, and Gnomes he just can’t understand why they won’t leave well enough alone. He calls Draenai ‘squiddies’, but doesn’t have any general feelings toward them. Some of my favorite RP moments with Mugs come from him at the Pig and Whistle or a ‘human’ bar, and ranting about ‘idjit humans’ before coming back to himself and looking rather guilty.
Hordeside, Blood Elves are the worst, followed by Forsaken, or ‘deaders’… although the Death Knights did complicate that a bit for him. Trolls… well, trolls have killed quite a few Boomsticks. He has a grudging respect for Orcs, and he doesn’t understand why we don’t talk with the Tauren more in general.
