Probably logged out in her RP clothes again.

I’m the player behind Threnn Bittertongue and Annalea al’Cair Alliance-side, and Davien Stonemantle Horde-side.  I started playing WoW early in 2005, originally with some friends (including jezebelxiii) from Christopher Moore’s message board on Stormrage.  My husband and a few other RL friends were on Feathermoon, so I split my time between servers.  But, as I learned rather quickly, I’m all about the story — PvE on Stormrage was neat, and the Lurkers are an awesome guild, but Davien and her tale were clamoring for attention and I gave it willingly.  Poor Stormrage Threnn got played less and less, and Feathermoon became my permanent home.

I eventually got the itch to play a paladin again, and since character transfers were still yet to come, I rerolled Threnn on Feathermoon, right around when the Wildfire Riders posted their first and only recruitment thread.  Her smartass sister was only ever supposed to be an NPC, but I had an image of a pretty blonde girl in a White Woolen Dress that wouldn’t go away, and lo, Annalea was born.

RP is the reason I play the game.  There’s so much story there to begin with when you look at Blizzard canon, and then I see how all the players take that lore and twine it into their own, creating everything from sweeping story arcs to small moments.  Watching those stories unfold, and being able to participate in them, is epic loot to me.
